Convenience - QuikBlade^®'s patented BladeStrip allows skates to be "sharpened" anytime, anywhere - even during a game! Like razorblades, the low cost BladeStrips are replaceable, eliminating the need for sharpening and QuikBlade^®'s innovative design means that a new set can be installed in less than a minute.

Stiffness - QuikBlade^®'s innovative carbon fibre Torque Tube blade holder is more than six times stiffer than existing designs. This contributes to more efficient power transfer from the skater's stride to the ice, as well as increased edge control.

Consistency - With existing skate blade technology, every time your skates are sharpened both the rocker and the hollow of the blade changes. With QuikBlade^®, the aluminum rocker determines the profile of the edge and the replaceable BladeStrips are factory sharpened, guaranteeing a consistent edge and hollow.

A lot of Defensemen use an 11' radius rocker, but I like the combination of speed and agility my Universals give me.
