QuikBlade® Meets or Exceeds
ASTM Specifications

1. Release

  • Relieve tension using the QuikBlade® Torque Limiting Driver. Rotate the wrench in a counterclockwise direction.
 
Remember that the BladeStrips are sharp.


Remove the BladeStrip from the heel end first...


then the toe.
Reverse this sequence when installing a
new BladeStrip.

 

2. Replace

  • Remove the old BladeStrip, heel first (through the slot).
  • Dispose of it properly.
  • Inspect the skate rocker for damage and clean if it is necessary.
  • Install the new BladeStrip, toe end first
    (as marked).
  • Slide the heel end of the BladeStrip through the slot in the heel of skate.

Remember to always install
QuikBlade® BladeStrips
BEFORE you put your skates on.


3. Re-tension

  • Apply light tension using the QuikBlade® Torque Limiting Driver.
  • Inspect the BladeStrip for proper seating.
  • Continue tensioning until the driver clicks
It is important that you do not over tension your blades. If your driver doesn't "click" see your local pro shop for a replacement
